This inviting Caldwell property had all the right ingredients for a quick sale—spacious common areas, a private primary suite, and a bright open-concept layout. What it needed was just the right design touch to help buyers envision how to live comfortably within its footprint. Set the Stage was hired by the listing agent and her broker to stage the living room, kitchen, dining area, primary suite with ensuite, and main bath using our base staging package.
Because the home was vacant, our focus was on showcasing scale, flow, and functionality. Each room was carefully styled to make the most of its square footage without overwhelming the space. In the living and dining areas, we chose furnishings with lighter tones and clean silhouettes to reflect natural light and create an airy, welcoming atmosphere. Soft textiles and layered lighting added comfort and warmth.
At the home’s entrance, a small foyer opened directly into the living room. To keep this transition feeling smooth and inviting, we opted for a minimal design approach that let the room breathe. In the kitchen, we recommended removing a few wall-mounted accessories to let the space shine on its own—highlighting its layout, cabinetry, and storage potential.
The primary bedroom, though modest in size, was transformed into a peaceful retreat with carefully scaled furniture and a soft, neutral palette. A bright area rug grounded the room and balanced the deeper tones of the existing carpet, helping the space feel fresh and move-in ready.
This project is a great example of how intentional design can enhance a home’s natural strengths and help buyers fall in love from the very first look.
