Gratitude, Community, and the Heart Behind Set the Stage Boise
As we enter the Thanksgiving season here in the Treasure Valley, I’ve been reflecting deeply on what gratitude really means—and how profoundly this past year has shaped my heart, my business, and my sense of purpose.
Grateful for Home, Support, and Family
This year, I’m especially grateful for my parents. They opened their home to me and to my sweet mini goldendoodle, Annabelle, without hesitation. Their support is more than a place to land—it’s an act of love, stability, and belief in both me and the future of Set the Stage.
It’s the kind of gift you can never quite repay, only honor through the life you build.
Grateful for Friendship and Tradition
For nearly twelve years, Thanksgiving has meant flying to Los Angeles to spend the holiday with my best friend David and his family. Together—avid fans of every cooking show ever made—we’ve built a tradition around connection, comfort, and the simple joy of being with people who truly know you.
This year, I’m mindful of missing them… and their two beautiful little kids who have become part of my chosen family. Thanksgiving has always been our holiday—not for the thrills or the gifts, but for the conversations, the laughter, and the quiet moments where life feels full and grounded.
Grateful for Community and Collaboration in Boise
Building a business in Boise has given me the chance to meet some truly incredible people. I’m deeply thankful for the homeowners, real estate professionals, investors, builders, and fellow entrepreneurs who have been open to conversations, collaboration, and genuine connection.
Several local business owners have opened their doors—and their hearts—as we explore future partnerships. Their willingness to build something together reminds me why I chose to plant roots in this community.
Grateful for My Team—The Heart of Set the Stage
Set the Stage is nothing without the people who bring it to life every day.
I’m eternally grateful for my staging team and for our moving partners, who show up with flexibility, positivity, and good nature—even on the hardest days.
Their energy makes the long hours worth it. Their commitment ensures every home we touch is elevated with care, creativity, and intention. They make this business possible.
Looking Ahead With Gratitude and Excitement
This season, we’re putting the finishing touches on something special: our first Set the Stage Boise e-commerce shop, launching just in time for the holidays. It’s simple, curated, and built with our signature style—something I’ve dreamt of offering since I opened this business.
